Pros

They sort out your legal working visa.

Cons

They'll lie from day one. The recruiters lie through their back teeth just to get you to China. EF do not support you to find accommodation. They give you phone numbers for agents who are not affiliated to them. There is constant useless, embarrassing training. In Kids & Teens they have Course Consultants who lie to parents, telling them that the teachers are qualified and experienced teachers. Most of the International Teachers don't even have a TEFL and quite frankly cannot teach. The managers are ex Tesco girls and boys who came to China as they were losers back home but, now they're someone.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear of your experiences with EF English First. We'd like to clarify there is on-boarding training in your first 2 weeks in China. After that, there's continuous training within your center and region. If this is not the case, please contact teacher.feedback@ef.com so we can better address your experience.
