Where do I start?.
The company is run as cheap as possible. You are asked to build out networks with equipment that has been laying around for years. Condition unknown. EVERYTHING is last second, high priority.
If you have any real experience in the industry, you will be treated like an intern unless you are one of the chosen ones. They always preach "The Encompass Way' and yet management seems to think that does not apply to them. They do not want you to think on your own. When you are given a task, they do not give you any guidelines to follow. When you use your experience as your guide, they tell you its not 'The Encompass Way' and you have to tear everything apart and start over. VERY frustrating if you have experience.
You are expected to juggle multiple projects at once. Then they yell at you if you do not complete the project yesterday.
Get this. Encompass has these quarterly evaluations. You read that right. Four times a year, management gets to sit you down for an 'evaluation'. They always fall back on 'The Encompass Way'. Everything is team this and team that. They cant grasp the concept that some people work best when left alone. The yearly raise?.. Hahaha. Management finds creative ways to jip you out of one. Last year they decided that there is now a ceiling you on the pay can make for your job title. If you reach the ceiling, you get a 'bonus' check (Insult) and that is all.
If there is ever any training class's, the only one's who are offered the class are the 'chosen ones and everyone else gets second hand training by their supervisor.. If you have any prior experience with the devise the class is for, you will be excluded from the class. Everything and everyone is micro managed. What a pain management can be. Management is very good at demoralizing the workers.
I could go on and on....
