Cons
Because of its location, cannot attract talented individuals. Most middle managers do not add value. Create a manager review questionnaire every year that will provide VPs with the results. There are many ways our company can improve, and removing unnecessary middle managers ("Yes men/women") will go a long way. Internal promotions are dime a dozen and usually go to people who are their manager's drinking buddy. Retention is low.
