Pros
The first few months are exciting because you pick up a lot, even if you’re surrounded by toxic micro-managers.
Cons
- Large drain of upper management within the finance team developed an extremely toxic environment while teams were being consolidated. - The work is interesting in the beginning, but since it’s so flat structured, 6 months in there is no scope for growth or learning. - Aggressive targets without any support or help. Toxic environment where you’re micro managed. Some Heads are promoted too early and have no people skills to know how to treat people. - The stock options are not worth much and hence compensation is well, well below market standards with no room for negotiation. In short, bad environment, you’re treated poorly, menial work, no scope for improvement, all while you’re paid below market standards.
