Pros
+I can't emphasise this enough but the majority of people here are really a pleasure to work with. +Pretty interesting culture with great sense of humour and human-like approach from most leaders. + No micromanagement, lots of project work and space to be creative. + Most people are genuinely passionate about the mission of the company. + Focus on improving diversity. + Salary reviews came in timely considering the market situation (although, only because they lost quite a few people in the last few months)
Cons
- Not great operationally and no enablement available for us to do our job easier. We still operate with systems and processes that have been used when Wise was a smaller company = meaning you will spend 10x the time to do a task that shouldn't take more than a few clicks/seconds time; Beware: Spreadsheets everywhere, anytime, for everything... Admin could take 60%-70% of your workload. - Not very open to changes. Running processes the way they did years ago because it made sense then... - The autonomous culture could be a double-edged sword. It actually feels more of an excuse around the chaos that exists. It probably worked perfectly when the company was smaller but it's insensible to continue running a scaling business with the same techniques/resources that have been used years ago; - Could do much better with incentives and benefits;
