Pros

Good Staff Discount Good lunch break

Cons

Being promoted to a store manager and being given no training or support with the role. Expected to work under high pressure and work all the hours under the sun. Was refferrf to occupational health by the company but nothing came of it. Instead was paired with a manager from another store who bullied her with the area manager to step down and leave. You couldn't have ever asked for a stronger brand ambassador who's blood and veins supported the ethos, craftsmanship and creativity of Swarovski and went so hard for them. Staying up all hours of the night to prepare the store for promo launches with no staff and no aid. I was warned by the previous manager it would crack me and I kept working hard until the pressure drove me to take anti depressants and question my life. A bully of an area manager who manipulates and threatens to get her own way. If you don't invest in a human being you cannot expect them to perform. Everyone deserve to be set up in the proper way to manage a million pound turn over store. I received no support or help. But was constantly blamed for taking on a role I was promoted to. You shouldn't offer someone a role and not nurture them . I was set up to fail. I am so proud of myself for sticking it out and despite coming in to work with glandular fever and doing to displays at 5 in the morning I tried my best to show them company I cared. I cared more about that role than my life untill I woke up and smelt the coffee.i will always love Swarovski and support it's heritage fully and be a brand ambassador. But the treatment I experienced was disgusting.

Pros

Strong level of autonomy as a Store Manager to drive the business, implement strategies, and influence sales performance Opportunity to develop leadership skills through team coaching, training, and performance management Emphasis on client experience and building meaningful in-store customer relationships Creative freedom to execute sales-driving initiatives and local events Hands-on ownership of business results, which can be very rewarding for self-motivated leaders

Cons

Limited support from regional and district leadership, particularly in satellite locations, which can feel isolating High turnover due to relatively low pay for Crystal Experts and Assistant Managers Budget constraints make it difficult to recruit and retain experienced, high-performing talent Teams may require significant development due to lower wage tiers, increasing workload and pressure on management Store conditions in some locations feel outdated, with limited investment in remodels or upgrades Compensation structure for hourly roles does not always align with expectations or workload
