Pros
Met some great people and discounts not bad.
Cons
I was a employee at Swarovski for over 7 years and worked very hard. I loved working for the company for most of the time I was there until I realised managers were able to sit around all day in the office doing nothing at all whilst they left senior sales to run the shop floor and manage their staff while they reeped all the benefits and praise from those higher up. Little did they know the manager of the store I worked for was lazy and did nothing all day. I was told a specific date which to leave in order to recieve a full months pay by my manager which was untrue. I didn't recieve a full months pay. She also told me I was entitled to less that 20hours holiday when in actual fact I was entitled to 20 hours which meant I should have left earlier than I did. I left a day after pay day and due to that they didn't pay me the £200 bonus I would have got had I worked until the next day, however not one member of pay roll or the manager informed me of this eventhough I had been praised for exceeding my target in the month bonus was paid for. When this was raised with the regional manager she basically said there was nothing she can do. I still can't believe how they treated me before I left after working for the company for so long. Swarovski treat their staff like disposable items regardless of how long you have been working there and how hard you have worked for them. I wouldn't recommend anybody waste their time applying for a job at Swarovski. To top it off they still owe me hundereds of pounds as a result of my incompetant ex managers mistake which they still haven't paid me back or acknowledged. Best thing I did was leaving.
