Pros

This review is about the Front St Philz: $13 an hour is one dollar above SF minimum wage so that's a plus? You're super busy all the time (also a con) so time sometimes flies by The coworkers who were there when I was there (who are all quitting) were incredibly fun and social Unlimited free coffee Free pastries Short commute off the BART Some regulars are awesome

Cons

-There are no electronic tips, so even though hundreds of customers come in every day, we share about .72 cents an hour in tips. -Management has created an environment where employees feel underappreciated, especially because promotions are awarded to people from outside the company instead of long-term workers -Management does not know how to give constructive feedback, but instead tends to make workers feel inadequate and disliked during feedback sessions. While I worked there, at least 5 employees cried during work hours because of the store leader. -Hours each week are cut back until we're understaffed and then sent last-minute texts asking to come into the store. - There is a general feeling of high-stress during peak hours - Underpaid for the work you do at this particular store which is busier than all other Philz stores during the week.
