Business Outlook
Pros
Flight benefits are great, and the work is autonomous. It can be fun, but it all depends on the crew.
Cons
Non competitive wages, barely above poverty line for new hire flight attendants. The wages would acceptable if the work load was light, but it's not. Lots of work for little pay. They expect a lot from flight attendants, but the don't want to pay or treat them fairly. Only 10 days off a month. Working 14 hour duty days with 9 hours of minimum rest will leave you exhausted. You won't be paid for any work you do until the aircraft door closes/wheel movement. Only 2 paid holidays a year Thanksgiving and Christmas.
