Pros
- yearly increment - support from pedagogist/ curriculum team - offer loads of training for teachers to grow - bonus & 13 months - good team/ colleague - strong curriculum, same structure across all centres and easier paperwork as compared to before (we have gone through the standardisation process, and I feel that the workload is simpler) - Work phone / laptop is provided - good medical benefits
Cons
- when i was new, there was a lack of support from principals (but don't be disheartened as this is just centre dependent) - demanding at times but you'll get the hang of it (give yourself time to grow - approximately a year) - challenging parents : this issue exists in the industry - big on inclusivity but lack support for teachers struggling with special needs children
