Pros
Largely friendly people to work with Not that difficult Good for entry level jobs Ok working environment - coworkers were nice and looked out for each other IT were quick to help with issues and very nice Didn’t really micromanage
Cons
The systems were ancient - everything could take 1/2 the time if not for the lagging systems. There’s multiple steps for the same thing and it’s repetitive and something redundant. Seemed like nepotism was rife here or at least most younger people were just here because their family does it - there seemed to be no marketing or much outreach by the company to younger people Most people were ancient (and wise) but so was some of the working environment Supposed to be hybrid working but only for some. Nothing in this job required you to be in the office let alone most of the time. Most of the “lower” posts were women, but the senior posts and a lot of loss adjusters were older men. There was absolutely no racial diversity whatsoever. Some red-tape involved. Not sure about the “career progression” mentioned - seems like it all depended on who they like.
