- There is HUGE turnover. An exodus of people is starting to occur at the end of this year (2018), and it doesn't seem like management is planning to do anything anytime soon. I hope they do something at least by next year, or this will be highly disappointing.
- Management/C-level is focusing too much on making money (last year, was too focused on acquisition - and this year, they are panicking over retention of our customers). With this, they've stopped caring about the actual product and the people who work at the company.
- There is a lack of proper transparency. It seems to me that everything is "going well" according to management.
- Communication is a huge issue within the company. Teams are working in silos when they should be talking to each other to create a holistic product.
- They claim that "customer trust" is one of the main principles that we need to focus on within the company, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
- They also claim that there are opportunities for people to get raises and promotions. This is not true. My current team has to write a one page letter to try to justify why we should get a raise.
- The office is not conducive for work. There is lack of air in the "loft" area upstairs -- people are having issues working properly due to this. In turn, they created a "fresh air policy" -- whereby the windows are opened three times during the day, leading to other people getting sick. It's a lose-lose situation.
- The office is not built to allow for communication across teams. This causes more animosity between HQ and their global constituents.
- People can disagree with me on this, but there is slight ethnic nepotism. Those who are German seem to have more of a say to the CEO.
