Pros
The learning curve is steep and accelerated, and can be really rewarding. You get a lot of exposure to different aspects of the business. It's a challenging market/business model, and the age of the company makes it exciting and keeps you busy. Pretty flexible with working locations and times. The team I worked with were largely excellent, but that can differ between departments based on the competency and values of the recruiters. If you are the right cultural fit, you will find the team great fun. Social events are frequent, well organised and fun.
Cons
Senior Management Team is ineffective and uninspiring. The legacy members hold the values of the company but lack the qualifications and experience needed to land change. The new experienced hires struggle to gain traction in a process-lacking company. Job title naming culture is inconsistent - the same job title means something different to each team, Really poor for career development, again probably systemic of a stagnant leadership team. Very poor starting salaries, and salary increases. Poor benefits package.
