Pros

The biggest pro of working for Goodwill would be the sense that what you are doing is helping people get employed and educated. It's nice to work for the greater good and to feel like what you are doing has a purpose. They also have great people working in Human Resources who are dedicated to helping you retain your job and add to the company.

Cons

The amount of money retail employees are paid is ridiculous. Despite the awesome services offered by the company, what they pay is not enough to get by on without a second income source. Also, full time employees work seven on/seven off twelve hour shifts. These shifts are hard on employees both physically and socially and, again, are not softened by sufficient compensation.
