      The firm was, at one time, a very fine place to work and employees were proud to be associated with it.

      Cons

      Beginning in with Piper & Marbury's first merger and with each consecutive merger, this firm became less and less desireable as an employer, with management becoming a more and more faceless entity.

      Pros

      - Excellent pay and benefits - Flexibility with the hybrid schedule (depending on your practice group) - Easy to build community with other assistants and paralegals

      Cons

      - Easy to fall into burnout due to understaffing in assistant/paralegal positions - Be prepared for an unexpectedly higher or lower workload at any point. - D.C. location is particularly strict about the hybrid expectations - A bit disorganized as a whole when it comes to onboarding and training for your particular practice group.
