Great people, great canteen, training courses opportunities
Cons
awful pay for paralegals with no career progression. DLA constantly recruit externally and not internally - therefore do not value their internal employees and give them nothing to work towards.

Business Outlook
Pros
Thoughtful and understanding management. Good team atmosphere. Flexible work arrangement.
Cons
Clients can be demanding. Frequently working against tight deadlines.
- Excellent pay and benefits
- Flexibility with the hybrid schedule (depending on your practice group)
- Easy to build community with other assistants and paralegals
Cons
- Easy to fall into burnout due to understaffing in assistant/paralegal positions
- Be prepared for an unexpectedly higher or lower workload at any point.
- D.C. location is particularly strict about the hybrid expectations
- A bit disorganized as a whole when it comes to onboarding and training for your particular practice group.
