Toxic work culture and extremely poor upper-level management - Marketing Communications Carrier Employee Review

Pros

Compensation is used as a tool, stay quiet, avoid speaking up, and you’ll be paid just enough to maintain compliance.

Cons

Raising concerns with upper management or HR often leads to retaliation , not resolution. While corporate politics are unfortunately common, the Marketing department at this company takes it to an extreme. Micromanagement, lack of transparency, and unclear expectations are part of the daily routine. Ironically, you’re then expected to manage critical tasks or projects without the necessary information or support. It’s a toxic cycle that rewards silence over initiative.

Pros

The people, the salary, Christmas vacation

Cons

Benefits are terrible, toxic leadership is prolific, chances for advancement are limited, micromanagement is normal, evolution and change are nonexistent, commitment to diversity and inclusion are superficial at best, the CEO draw a compensation of tens of millions of dollars per year while laying people off, the CHRO is one of the most toxic people leaders I have ever come across.
