Not great values

Pros

Good vibe in Lisbon's office (apparently very different from Frankfurt)

Cons

Sometimes is hard to differentiate if it's a company or University, so many interns and junior profiles, and of course, the expectation is that they perform as seniors! The management/company brainwashes young people with all that poetic culture stuff! They mention all the time about taking ownership but it's a lack of responsibility from heads and team leads (All very amateur) on guiding the juniors. It’s a super pollutant company but they just don’t care! They want to show every week in the All hands how much we are growing in € and focusing on the investor's target!!

Not really a good company to work

Pros

- For those satisfied with beer, fruit and party this can be a good place to work; - Young professional will benefit from information access to diferent teams;

Cons

Company culture and environment is toxic, over competitive and unfair. Some reason for that: - Toxic information flow coming from top management puts people against each other; - The company is ok with unclear or lack of procedures. But will blame you for not doing something, even if there was nobody assigned for that. It is name as "take ownership"; - There will be tons of extra (unpaid) working hours. They call it "take ownership" too. - Appreciation is something you rarely see. Since you are always expected to go the extra mile, you are always in debt. C-levels will always make clear you are not enough; - Leaders are promoted most of the cases based on their ability to do calculation. No soft/people skills are considered. High management (including C-levels) usually have no ability to develop their employees and are very professionally immature; - Its common to hear synical comments or arrogant communication from heads; - Hire and fire policy. This is why you will always find lots of open positions; - P&O team (don't ever say HR in meetings) has no power. Everything will be decided based on CEO's perception.

Pros

Employee Perks: Company product discounts and an affordable gym pass can be seen as benefits. Office Environment: The modern office design might give newcomers a different perspective on company culture initially.

Cons

A Note to Tech Professionals: This is fundamentally a company focused on physical sleep products, and it's crucial for tech enthusiasts to understand this: Not a Tech-Driven Company: While there may be tech elements, this is not a hub for innovation, scalability challenges, or cutting-edge technology projects. Limited Tech Challenges: The lack of high-scale data and limited tech-centric projects means you're unlikely to stretch your tech muscles here. Mismatched Expectations: If you're seeking a dynamic tech environment, this isn't it. The emphasis here is primarily on selling mattresses, not advancing tech solutions and tech products. Operational Overdrive: The company is so sales and operation-centric that product managers often feel like mere extensions of the operations team. Surface-Level Culture: While parties and events might suggest a fun work environment, the reality is a high-pressure, operations-driven setting. Review Manipulation: Encouraging early reviews from new hires may artificially inflate the company's image on review platforms (Glassdoor). **Closing Thoughts: While there's merit in the company's product quality, tech professionals seeking meaningful challenges should look elsewhere. The operational intensity and lack of tech focus can be stifling for those looking to grow in a tech-centric role.
