Pros

Very few places will offer the opportunity to grow this fast within a company. Normally, in a company it would take up to 1 year to launch a new product in a market, but at Emma is different. With very little experience, within 6 months I launched 5 products within 2 markets. The opportunity to learn and develop are of enormous advantage. Also, if you are looking for a community of young professionals in the same boat as you, you will find plenty. Furthermore, the opportunity for promotion is every six months. The company offers free drinks on Thursdays and every couple of weeks tries to organize some fun events for employees (to which there is low attendance)

Cons

- Low salary in comparison to average positions - Little to no proper support from managers - No proper training (everyone learns either on their own or by asking peers for help. Usually the people helping are not from the same team) - Everyone is overworked - High stress level - The majority of employees work over time (sometimes weekends as well) for no extra compensation - The average retention rate is of 1 year (without counting interns) - Employees keep quitting due to poor salary and low work/life balance, hence working is difficult as point of contacts keep changing and usually the replacement is an intern who has never covered that role before.

Pros

High Responsibility given from the start

Cons

Toxic work culture, party environment, overworking instead of hiring more staff, people quit after 6 months and rarely stay longer than 1 year, poor pay for the workload
