      Overall, stable company financially, but crap shoot when it comes to site management.

      Pros

      Financially stable organization; benefits (pay, medical, etc) okay for aerospace industry, but better than most overall; online classes for additional training available to employees; some great senior managers in organization.

      Cons

      Favoritism towards Leadership Development Program (LDP) participants with management positions. If not part of the program, expect to be passed up for promotion. Site management lacking awareness of issues and sophistication of problem solving and general aerospace standards and practices. Communication lacking and can improve greatly.

      Pros

      well it's a job and it does pay the bill's and you can refuse to make it if you think it's wrong untill someone in supervision signs off on it .

      Cons

      in the plant i work , they prove everyday the good ol' boy system is a live and well, if you drink beer and play golf with the boss you don't have to work to keep your job but if you just want to do the job and go home to your wife and kids and skip all the bull ! then maybe they don't need that , i have seen a lot good workers fired because they made a simple mistake and others do the same thing and O well it will be o:k we will just tell them you did not know it was wrong to do it !! so all in all it sux!!!

      Good company to work for if you like living in Cleveland Ohio, the compensation is fair for the amount of work that you have to put in

      Cons

      Sleepy midwestern culture makes change almost impossible for Eaton as most of the thinking is a component or widget company
