      Pros

      Flexibility of work schedules are excellent. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and nice to work with. The work varies daily and is challenging and makes you strive to do your best.

      Cons

      The company is somewhat behind in terms of technology, however, the overall innovation of the business combats that.

      Pros

      Very mission driven - generally wants to do what is right for educators and students and their employees.

      Cons

      They have so many different groups especially within IT that it is often hard to get stuff done, and to know who to go to. 1 meeting involving something IT realted could have 15 different people on representing all different areas - people only know about their one area and that is problematic. They are trying to go to a more full-service model in k-12...

      Ok company but stuck in the past in terms of technology

      Pros

      Small-ish company. Managers tend to give employees and consultants a fair chance to prove themselves and improve their skills. Employees tend to stay on for longer periods of time. Nice benefit package.

      Cons

      They need fresh talent at all levels. Many of the employees have been there a long time and have limited experience outside of ETS. As a result, they are often 'reinventing the wheel' or not doing things according to industry best practices. This is especially true in the IT groups. Many of their processes around IT development are not as mature as one would think for such an old company, but this goes back to the lack of fresh talent. No real bonus.
