Make more money training than working

Pros

The ability to create your own schedule and work from home

Cons

-They just use government funding to hire and train as many raters as possible, then give them all 4 hours a month in actual work; you get more money for the time you spend training than you make in a year of working. They are essentially using government funds to train thousands of people then not give any of them any hours. -Team leads are very inconsistent. One person will grade every essay differently than you did, while the next day that grader agrees with your scores and says that you are doing really well with the rubric. -People stop showing up toward the end of their scheduled work time because they are frustrated with the lack of hours they receive.

SMART people. GOOD people. Amazing benefits (i.e. 100% tuition reimbursement). Strong work-life balance.

Cons

Volatility in the industry. Difficult to convince people to WANT to take a test.
