Pros

Not so hard to get started. You get a good title and they drop you in the pool so you have to learn to swim quickly. Workload is high, especially as you are learning from scratch. Good atmosphere with young international colleagues. Good opportunities for travel and meeting young people. Relative freedom if you have the right manager. You get to be quite all round in your department.

Cons

Long hours, pay is not great even though it is marketed as being great. No pension. Politics mainly with management. In my case I would have had to move abroad if I wanted to go on with my career in the company. Lack of clear career paths. Senior managment in place because they are loyal rather than competent.

Pros

The work itself is literally life-changing for our customers. The people who work here are young, passionate and energetic. The opportunity to travel internationally is incredible. The environment is very entrepreneurial and innovative; no shortage of exciting changes. Everyone is expected to take ownership of their work and act with autonomy. There is no linear career path. If you're a rock star, you can move around and try new things. Very flat environment, not really hierarchical. Everyone is accessible, including c-suite.

Cons

I've seen some leaders of products or divisions do a poor job of change management. Moving fast can be a good thing, but it's really disruptive and demotivating if you don't take into account how to bring the team along with you and involve them in those changes.

Pros

I was hired out of college and it has been a rollercoaster ride ever since. They are a company that truly values their workforce and makes sure you are properly trained. Coming in with zero sales experience, I have had consistent coaching and support that has really allowed me to grow as an employee and open doors for advancement. Because of this job I have been able to see the world and establish a strong network of incredible people. Also, the parties and lingo (work bar) are pretty cool too!

Cons

The downsides to the job are compensation and consistency with staff and management. These things due cause frustrations at times, but overall the pros outweigh the cons.
