Pros
Large organization with many opportunities A large international presence The benefits for employees are good and it seems as if everyone in generally friendly and outgoing Salaries are competitive The work days are flexible and basically can be formed around an employee’s home and family commitments within reason The CEO keeps a Blog which is just cool to read
Cons
Bureaucracy is always intertwined in such large organizations Some methodologies are dated and could use revision although as a whole I believe Dow is trying to move to a more progressive/innovative stance within the industry Most of its products are adversely affected by the commodities market which may add volatility to employment status
