Really - do not work here

Pros

- You get a network of international professionals in your industry - You experience the WORST corporate culture EVER - so you know what to avoid

Cons

- You experience the WORST culture ever - it takes a toll on your mental health, financial health, it makes you question your value as a human being to society - 90% of senior leadership are employees for the last 6+ years. They are there because they made money through the IPO and coz they've been there a while and it's an international business - these people are basically on holiday in exotic destinations the whole time, bossing people around with minimal big-company experience. - Expanding on the above, since these people are grounded in emerging-market mentalities, they are not very competent - both in terms of work-ethic and in terms of skill level. - If you are a focused, especially a senior-professional - don't do it. Unless you are really really desperate. If you are, then sure, everyone needs money. But this place is bad.

Pros

They sell you flexible working hours and work from home in the interview process, but actually no one is taking advantage of the flexibility since almost everyone is working overtime without getting paid. No Pros, i would say.

Cons

If you want to pollute your CV, you are welcomed to join this company! 1. They claim to be a big company (NYSE listed), however the company is a mess : no internal processes put into place, no clear definition of work scopes, managers have the right to do whatever they want especially if they are from the inner circle (Uruguayans). 2. There is no handover policy. Don't expect a proper handover to be done for you. You will have "I don't know" as a answer to most of all your questions since nobody in this company has been through a handover process. 3. Poor/micro management: this company is run by children, most of the managers get their positions because they are friends with someone highly placed in the company, so your manager won't probably have knowledge about the technicalities of the role and will put the blame it on you to justify their lack of competencies with the top management whenever they get the chance to. You will put effort in a lot of things but your manager will point up one thing that you didn't do and make all the review assessment about it. 4. You will never feel secure in this company because they will fire you once they take everything from you. They don't care if you have a family or kids to feed. 5. They have no problems committing local regulation breaches, they engage into activities without having licenses, they get involved into activities that are prohibited by local laws. They have been part of big scandals in many countries. I invite you to search the company in the internet.

Not a company for everyone

Pros

Great camaraderie among colleagues, who are always willing to help with any issues you face and support you in navigating the complexities of the business. The company is likely to continue growing and may become a better place to work in the future.

Cons

The work environment is quite toxic, with a culture that no longer aligns with what you typically see in product-driven companies today. Work-life balance is poor, and there isn’t much room for recognition. The benefits are not competitive compared to other companies in the industry. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re not used to dealing with constant pressure, often without a clear purpose, and working in an environment where everything is treated as an emergency, regardless of employee well-being. I witnessed too many burnouts and layoffs during my time, which was alarming.
