      Great Start For the Young Ones

      Pros

      Amazing Familial Atmosphere. Doble and Sheppard are a formidable duo and are very much the essence of the company. This is an amazing introduction for young people without experience of either estate agency or the world of work to gain an understanding of the maxim, 'hard work pays'.

      Cons

      Not so good for the experienced estate agent used to doing things their own way.

      Staying to build a career

      Pros

      Good autonomy in the day-to-day role. All managers and directors have been supportive and active in my development. Opportunities to earn good commission and progress your career with clear promotion structures in place.

      Cons

      You have to be prepared to work long hours on occasion. You get out what you put in so it’s usually worth it.

      Pros

      I joined Dexters five years ago after working for a large local competitor. The working environment, earning potential and career progression are by far the best i've seen in agency.

      Cons

      Hours aren't for the faint hearted, but benefits outweigh the cons.
