Pros

Dentons offers a lot of flexibility in terms of locations where you can work. Hours are manageable. The firm is flexible with pro bono as creditable hours. Managing partners of DC and SF offices are incredible. Pays well!

Cons

Higher management of the whole firm could use improvement. There seems to be a lot of trust issues at senior associate or partner levels. There seems to be a lot of turnover as well.

Pros

Good benefits, annual pay raise/bonus, mostly amiable people, fantastic location and views, interesting work, get to work with colleagues across the country, recent commitment to diversity (fairly visible in practice with women and LGBT*; less so with visible minorities and people with disabilities)

Cons

Very hierarchical, poor communication between departments, not enough sick/personal days, very few visible minorities, not a great work/life balance, high turnover of younger lawyers and staff
