Pros

Flexibility in your job structure and duties. Ability to shape your job and functions. Good pay and benefits are comprable to other companies. Good name recognition and well known company. Management is pretty good about communications, but sometimes are light on the details.

Cons

Remote employees have a hard time on boarding and there are constant reorganizations and shifting roles and responsibilities. Stock price has been tanking for a long time and there seems to be a lack of direction on where the company is heading.

Pros

The pay is great, the culture and people I work with are outstanding, some of the best personal and professional relationships I've ever had. They do the best job they can do of making sure the pay is more than competitive in order to ensure they have the best people for the job, and keep them. They also genuinely seem concerned about treating people right even when making cutbacks in a recession.

Cons

It is a results-driven and high stress environment, and this can take a toll on your health even if you don't recognize it is happening. Recently a fitness center has been built and health initiatives and rewards have been put in place to offset that.

early in the career it's a great place for experience.

Cons

Dell as a whole doesn't value employees, individual managers do, but they can't affect the butts in seats attitude. Dell doesn't have the high tech valued employees mindset, more the manufacturing line mindset.
