      Ability to learn quickly Fast pace tech company Lots of responsibility given to Individual Generally co-works are fun to work with and smart Flexible work schedule

      No career path or real opportunities Constant lay-offs and outsourcing Working harder than average results in no great benefit either financially or professionally Constant shifting strategy based on short-term factors

      Pros

      Lots of opportunity for advancement, things change frequently so it stays fresh. Dell is pretty good about working from home if possible. Sr. Mgmt has a tendecy to leave you alone if you're hitting your number.

      Cons

      Constant cost cutting, lack of strong communication and change particularly if you are remote or not in corp headquarters. Lots of BS powerpoint drills and ops reviews.
