Pros

Things are pretty good until when they are not anymore. There are many nice and talented people who have spent decades in the company, starting as blue collars and climbing quite high up. The enthusiasts carry the company and the benefits are quite nice. Daily work is quite nice, controlling your own work, traveling more or less, depending on the position, getting to try different things and work with people around the world.

Cons

HR is not there for the employees at all. Everything takes a very long time and people are not treated well. Important information moves slowly and chaotically, and newcomers don't even get some essential info - especially as expats - and people and teams are not treated equally throughout the company. There are no clear career paths and in some areas there is nowhere to grow. And when things get bad, it is everyone for themselves. Some people lead a very comfy life while just ignoring their responsibilities they are not keen on doing and others are thrown over board with valuable knowledge and no proper handover as collateral damage. Most people who have left the company are happier elsewhere.

Pros

Good company with stability, offers possibilities to internally expand both your experience as well as your network. Global company feeling, in spite of the small size.

Cons

Flat organization that in one way is good, but it makes it very hard to make a career internally as each step is a large step. It often seems like it is the same people that change job with each other on a middle management level.
