The company founded on his invention now manufactures, markets, and delivers half of the milking equipment sold globally. Its products include automatic milking systems, milk cooling tanks, feeding systems, and, since comfortable cows produce more milk, cow comfort and hygiene products. DeLaval also manufactures specialized dairy equipment and products for goats, sheep, and buffalo. The company operates about 20 manufacturing facilities and three research and development centers and has customers in more than 100 countries worldwide. It is a subsidiary of Tetra Laval International.
