      Pros

      You learn how to deal with customer service issues in your own, without the support of Coorporate. Being an octopi is a must. You have to deal with 20 things at the same time.

      Cons

      After dedicating more than half of your professional life to the company, achieving great revenue, maintaining high customer service standards; they force you to leave by being very discriminating. If your not part of upper management "friends list" your are gone...

      Atmosphere depends highly upon management

      Pros

      You share in someone's biggest day and most special time in their life, you make a difference in someone's day, you get to help the stylists under you and watch them grow into better ones

      Cons

      You get yelled at a lot, you are the face of customer service and when someone is unhappy your name is called on the speakers, if the numbers achieved or under-achieved on your day of mgmt you have to explain why stylists or people didn't make purchases on top of a never-ending to-do list. Cooperate doesn't set their managers up for success with how many things they are forced to juggle in a day, something will slip through the cracks and it is usually customer service which is supposedly the #1 priority.

      Pros

      Making dreams come true and building relationships with your customers. The Store Manager is the reason why I am still at DB

      Cons

      You have zero weekends off from December through April. Company does not take into consideration traffic trend. Upper management is not a leader, is above him to talk to assistant managers and below.
