Pros

I worked with a group of pretty cool people at the time so that was cool. As far as the clients are concerned, I had quite the rapport with most of the women and sometimes men that came in looking for an affordable gown to wear on their special day. I received gifts, wedding invites and referrals from appreciative clients.

Cons

The turnover rate was high unfortunately. The pay is awful and there's not much room for growth at all to be honest. You work hard and go above and beyond for your clients and the company and end up half the time with nothing to show for. The pay is awful and the commission is not guaranteed based off the ridiculous pay/commission structure. You make minimum wage and have to sell over $10K every 2 weeks just to make a measly 6% commission. Then there's the competition and catty behavior because you mostly work with retail career females. So long David's Bridal, you won't be missed!

Pros

Working with brides is really wonderful. Helping a girl find her dress is a great feeling. Nice women to work with.

Cons

Almost impossible to make commission Must maintain $171.00 per hour for every hour worked for 2 weeks to make any commission. The 2 weeks are averaged together and commission can be.5% to 4% of sales for 2 week period. No benefits for stylists no sick ,holiday, or . vacation pay. Must sell 65% of your brides or you can be let go. Store always dirty. Management washes bridal gown in sink with shout and then sells them to customers. DISGUSTING!

Pros

For the most part, the people in the home office are dedicated and loyal.

Cons

There has been a lot of change with new management. Not sure they have found their direction yet.
