Pros

All the cultural stuff is more than just words - people here really believe & live by the core values and mission. Jump all the way in to get the most out of your experience at DPR.

Cons

No procedures manual - great environment for people who thrive without micromanagment, not for people who need clear instructions all the time.

Pros

Allows employees to take on new approaches to problem solving, yet has resources available to rely on if you're tackling something new. A great company if you're an ambitious person who likes to try to solve things on your own. Has great benefits, executive leadership is extremely approachable, encourages enjoyment, fun both on and off the job. Listens to each persons wishes on how they want their career to proceed.

Cons

Some of the self-perform divisions run a little slower than others. When coordinating or scheduling projects with some SPW divisions, it can require a constant hand to guide them through the process, depending on how busy they are.

Growing Pains

Pros

Flat organization. No boundaries. Plenty to do for a self starter. Great group of people. Willingness to try new things. Fix issues and work hard. Great learning experience.

Cons

Still in the same place. No scaffolding of processes, both on jobsites and offices. Chaotic. Reinventing the wheel every single time, whether it is on the jobsite or office. Teams are staffed thin and worked to the bones. That does not help process or discipline. No strategy for growth and how to scale.
