Pros

DLA is a global law firm with great people, top notch clients and challenging work. It is a tremendous place to practice law and people here are generally happy.

Cons

Law is a demanding profession and the work life balance issue is one that is very difficult to balance with the current law firm economic model. It's a very large firm and there are aspects of large law firms that aren't for everybody.

Pros

Great place to work. Loved my colleagues and interesting clients. Great teamwork environment but also the opportunity to build an independent practice.

Cons

General work/life balance when working in a dynamic, growing legal practice.
