Pros

Pay is good depending on where you live. Flexible hours to a degree.

Cons

They're not transparent about what is TRULY required of you. They will say X but they're really judging you by Y. They treat you like a machine and have no soul. 0 job security. Here today, gone later today. They like to make the job sound like the best thing ever and cover up the ugly sides ...and let you find out the most painful way. I used to be a fan when I first started and told everyone about it. I only wish now that I can call everyone together and tell them to NEVER, EVER bother with this company. I will probably do that eventually. If you're thinking about whether or not to apply or accept the offer, stop thinking and DON'T go any further with them. OR Take the offer knowing that your end date is around the corner. In the meantime, work in a toxic environment and get paid for that. Save your money cuz if you work here, the rainy days where you're back on the job market are coming.

We appreciate the review. We're not sure which team you worked with, but our metrics are pretty straightforward, and we are upfront with everything from our metrics to the fact that you're a contractor, which means your contract could be ended at any time.

Pros

While everyone is debating pros and cons of remote work after COVID and getting forcefully called back to office, Crossover has always been a completely remote organization. It has employees from all over the world and is a revolutionary concept of working. The pros are - Much higher pay especially since you are paid in dollars - Completely flexible work schedule. As long as you meet your targets for the week and the weekly 40 hours, no one cares what time you work. This is the best part about working with Crossover. - Interact with people from all over the world. - You get paid for the hours you work for. Nothing more, nothing less. - Completely transparent salary structure, you know exactly how much your colleagues are earning.

Cons

- No job security, but that is clear from the onset of your contract since you are hired as a contractor.

Good money, Remote work, but No job satisfaction

Pros

Good money, if you are NOT from US, Canada or West EU Fully remote work from wherever you are on the planet

Cons

Over-regulated and over-shilloed (assembly line principle) - you have work units to work on, following pre-scribed prpcesses and anything outside that is not your problem (and you are not allowed to work on anything outside of the scope of the work unit). Hence a lot of things fall on the floor (no ownership). Basic things, like "when will the next build released because a customer is expecting the fix we alredy implemented", cannot be determined, not even after being super escalated to VPs (seriously). High fluctuation, and as such knowledge and experience is quickly lost. If you are using a product that was aquired by ESW Capital, you better think of moving away from it, because support for the product will deteriorate over time due to the company loosing knowledgable people.

We appreciate your detailed feedback, and we're glad to see you enjoy the cornerstones of our platform, our pay and remote positions. It sounds like you're working with a company that Crossover hired you for, rather than Crossover itself. That being said, we'd be happy to relay your feedback back to the appropriate team. Please reach out to our HR team if you're comfortable: humanresources@crossover.com.
