A real unique challenge

Pros

The rates you see are the real deal. Very intense and extremely sharp people

Cons

A pressure cooker and they change people out frequently. It's 1099 and not a career but a very unique and difficult environment. I appreciate the experience but would not recommend it for someone who wants stability or longevity.

Thanks for this candid take! You're right about the rates being real - we're transparent about compensation because it's a core part of our value proposition. The high-intensity environment and contractor model aren't for everyone, and that's okay. We aim to be upfront about this: while business needs can change rapidly, we do try to place strong performers in new opportunities when possible. Thanks for sharing your perspective - it helps set realistic expectations for future candidates.

Thanks for the straightforward review! True about the timely payments - that's one thing we never compromise on. Just to clarify - we deliberately set our hourly rates higher to account for contractors managing their own time off and benefits. This gives you the flexibility to take breaks when needed while maintaining strong compensation.

Toxic Company - Avoid

Business Outlook

Pros

Only thing is remote and payment

Cons

Everything else other than Pros are Cons, And remember that all the reviews that you see positive are purely fake and written by the HR of the company as to save their job. Management is unbearable and the management is not like the management as you think like other company, most of the senior and people who are in management are pure dummy and they dont have any authority or power, its only 2 / 3 people that decide the fate and they fire and hire at any second they like. They take stupid decisions and buy a product and spend millions of dollars to work on that with a huge team and after a year they abandoned that product and fire all the team blaming that. It is that those 2/3 guys take wrong decisions and others are fired. So avoid this, only join if you need some money and you can forget about self respect

Thanks for sharing your candid feedback. While we're glad the remote work and reliable payments met expectations, we're concerned about your experience. Just to clarify - we are a recruitment platform and it seems you're describing one of our client companies rather than Crossover itself. Regarding reviews - we do encourage our workforce to share their honest experiences but never require or manufacture reviews. Our 5k+ contractors worldwide speak to our legitimacy. If you're willing to share more specific details about your experience, please email humanresources@crossover.com. This helps us address concerns with the relevant companies and improve experiences for others. For transparency: business needs can change rapidly in our industry, which can affect project continuity. While we always try to find new opportunities for strong performers, we understand this model isn't for everyone.
