Pros

I joined Crossover in November 2018, and I thought it's going to be easy since I will be working from home, I work anytime I want to. My assumptions were way off. I soon realized that this job is just as demanding as a normal office job, maybe even more since it requires a disciplined mind. Without discipline and the continuous will for self improvement, you probably wouldn't last long in this high paced environment. In all truthfulness, this job isn't for everyone. It's fast paced, it's demanding and you have to have a hunger for learning. You have to be the top 1% of the top 1% to make it here. But after all is said and done, it's absolutely worth it.

Cons

I often find myself responding to customer emails during my off days in order to keep our customer's happy. Such is the life of a customer support engineer, if you love what you do :).
