Pros

Salary is as stated - everyone is paid the same at your level so you don't have to worry about negotiating

Cons

You must download a screen recorder/tracker - it monitors what you do while you're working, and takes screenshots of both you and your screen every ten minutes. You will be working 40 hrs exactly because if you take a coffee break, it won't count on on the job No true career ladder for most roles - will have to apply for another role with all outside talent pool Has some W2 workers, but pretends it doesn't so it doesn't have to offer health insurance to people. Within my team, I am the only one with health insurance since my boss will not allow anyone else to switch to W2

Thanks for your review. We're happy to hear you valued our transparency when it comes to pay. We use the WorkSmart tool because it ensures transparency around productivity – which is really important to companies that are transitioning to remote. You can pause it at any time and work whenever you want – so it's actually a lot more flexible than a regular workplace, just works differently. Thanks also for the feedback on the career ladder – we're working to improve that.

Pros

Remote, high salary, and feeling of being exceptional when hired and survive for more than a year

Cons

Misunderstood use of lofty goals and agile/lean methodologies for improvement. hiring bar is high with the expectation a cognitive test is the end all be all for a great employee. No development, support, or career growth for employees.

We appreciate the feedback, and we're glad to hear you valued the pay. We use cognitive aptitude tests because they're scientifically proven to correlate with high job performance more than pretty much any indicator (e.g. age or even years of experience). We hold them to high standards to ensure we have the best of the best. There's always room for improvement and we're working on better pathways to give great people more opportunities to advance in the future.
