It's been a great learning experience to work at Cotopaxi. Everybody here is amazing at what they do and fun to be around.

Some people don't like to do their dishes or clean up after themselves in the kitchen

Pros

Cotopaxi is filled with people who really care about the work they're doing. The team is small, but everybody seems to wear many helpful hats around the office. Each member is super passionate about the work being done, and that continues to resonate. It's cool to feel like, yeah, we are here building something meaningful every day and not just mindlessly punching the clock at either end of a shift. That feels good.

Cons

Things can get a little chaotic at times, but that's part of joining a startup. Some days you wish you had a few more employees to help with the load, which will, of course, come with time.

Pros

Company has an amazing mission and values. Great work/life balance. Amazing co-workers that are fun to work with and committed to the mission. Lots of opportunity for cross-functional input. Regular company retreats enable co-workers to get to know one another outside of work. Awesome discounts on Cotopaxi product, plus lots of industry deals as well. Weekly in the wild time (10% of your work week spent recreating) is emphasized. We own two llamas and they make regular appearances at employee and customer engagements.

Cons

Small workspace can be a bit distracting to work in. Lots of collaboration going on. Limited resources in key areas lead to some delays in getting things done. Missing some people in key roles to help optimize the business.
