Pros

Good knowledge and support culture among the employees. Fair company benefits and flexible work arrangement.

Cons

Less competitive salary especially for those experience engineers. The company will always match the fresh graduates pay with other companies to attract the new blood but never try to retain those experience engineer whose contributed to the project and company. A lot of very good engineer leaved the company and caused low morale recently. In order to get promotion, engineer must take more responsibility in order to get promoted regardless how much value created by engineer toward the project and company. Very stress working environment and long working hour expected as company faces a lot disruptive challenges in automotive market. Company always look for cheap labor with low hourly rate from development country and not appreciate the quality work from good engineer.

Pros

-Friendly colleague and supervisor -Flexi working hours -Office environment is good

Cons

-Process took very long to have the idea implemented. A lot round of meeting is needed and the final buy-in of the idea depends on the head of other location -Technical people do not get recognition -Slow promotion and paid is under the market average as compared with "Software Engineer". Need to work extra to get promotion -Good engineer is leaving but company just hire external to solve the issue. The talent people are leaving and affect the team competency -Always have a lot of meeting to collect feedback and ideas but this never turn into actual action -Engineer needs to be multi-function due to colleague leaving, workload increase but paid is same.

Pros

Work culture is good, people willingly to help one another.

Cons

- Salary is still lower compared to market rate, though HR always mentioned that they do salary benchmarking every year. BUT it is industry known that Continental pay lower than normal market rate. Why keep deceiving internal people? - No much career progression for technical once Principal title is reached. So you cannot see bigger salary increment as promotion is hard after that. Can only look forward to annual increment. - Flexi benefits not that great and still need to deduct for CPF. - A lot of information are not transmitted down to most people. Only selected people (Group leader & above) will know about it. No transparency.
