- I've had jobs where after the first few months the 'honeymoon period' is over and you start to see the cracks in the foundation.. at Connected, it's been a year and I'm still eager and excited to come to work every day.. it's really a new experience - The company values are actually followed and evident in everyone who works here - SO many smart people – I'm always learning something new - Great opportunities for career growth - Client work is incredibly interesting - eNPS surveys are taken seriously and changes have actually been enacted from them

Cons

- Healthcare benefits could be a bit better but they're not the worst that I've had

Pros

I've been at Connected for two years now and it is an awesome place to work. We work with some amazing clients on exciting projects, and I find the work really fulfilling. Our team truly are some of the smartest people in tech and product development and it's motivating to work alongside them as I'm always learning. I feel valued, that my voice is heard and that I'm making an impact every day. The company is also really open to feedback and we just got better benefits in the summer. I also like that we look at compensation and other perks every 6 months and my manager is supportive of my career growth.

Cons

More dogs in the office and RRSP matching would be nice. More options to work from home.

- Pair programming 8 hours a day is exhausting and not productive. It's unbelievable how pair programming and xtreme processes are worshipped even when it clearly has disadvantages. - Pay is incredibly low, as soon as I left the company I realized how underpaid engineers are compared to other Canadian tech companies.
