Pros

Very flexible scheduling, competitive pay, fun work atmosphere, and having a job that i'm actually proud to put on my resume.

Cons

A better location for the home office would be nice... but space at Columbia is hard to find.

Pros

Top University - Ivy League. Learned a lot from professors. Enjoyable work environment. Challenging projects. Short learning curve. No benefits.

Cons

More guidance required on certain topics. Career advice not given. Graduate School possibilities are not desirable. Two different campuses CUMC/Morningside.

Pros

Vacation and demand of job are in line with compensation. Management is supportive of initiatives, but the process for promotion feels like a dangling carrot.

Cons

Compensation is LOW. The 80% of the work done by 20% of the staff is in full effect here. Coworkers knowledge in other departments is extremely low.
