      Interesting products, poor management

      Pros

      Products are often interesting and meaningful. Engineers get to focus on design with lots of opportunity to work on different types of technology and develop valuable skills and experience along the way.

      Cons

      Management. This is a company that has a very deep hierarchy. Way too many levels of “leadership” and lots of blame games.

      Good benefits and good pay

      Cons

      Environment becoming increasingly toxic with woke politics and open sexism towards males. Promotion/hire without identifying as a female is nearly impossible. Females allowed to have all female teams, men have to have females placed within teams regardless of skill or fit.

      Working here felt like taking a step backwards by 15 years. Because many leaders have been with the company their entire career, they’re not aware of how antiquated this business operates. They have the perception this business is superior, but in reality it is one of the poorest run companies I have been with. Technology is outdated, processes are ancient, the lack of employee knowledge is frightening. Training is nonexistent. Leadership is horribly ignorant. Ideas and opportunities for improvement are shut down. This is the epitome of ‘this is how we’ve always done it..’
