Pros

Competitive salary. Good work/life balance.

Cons

Accounts are not managed well. Recruiter workloads are not properly balanced. "Fire drill" approach - if the client wants something, Cielo moves almost too quickly without taking their time and doing it correctly which leads to many mistakes and miscommunication. Most recently, many employees either reorganized or laid off with zero notice, even top performers.

Pros

Global reach, high ranking, great people who will go the extra mile. This is a real work hard play hard environment.

Cons

The company is selling far more than it has the resource to deliver, especially on special projects. This results in people being put under unreasonable pressure to deliver on impossible SLA's. There's a big disconnect between the management line on Cielo as an employer brand and the reality. There is a lot more take than give for employees expected to perform miracles for very average remuneration and a large part of bonus's are tied to over blown and unrealistic budgets set by the aggressive VC owners. Numbers are king and people come a poor 2nd.

Pros

Compensation is Ok. Working at home is a big plus - one of the best perks. The people are the most professional, talented people you will find in the industry! I love the people I work with. Excellent courses and continuing education in the field.

Cons

Lack of structure and you are thrown into accounts without direction. New employee training needs much improvement. Lack of support from management I believe because they are focusing on too many accounts at once. Work/life balance is non-existent. You will have the feeling you are set up to fail. Loyalty is not reciprocal. I have seen recruiters put in 12 hour days, close jobs orders by the hundreds and not be treated as valuable employees - you are still considered replaceable. It has been disappointing to see the decline in the culture and values of a potentially great company.
