Pros

New happenings , constant encouragement and positive outlook, own your success opportunities. Great people and experience that will set you apart

Cons

High volume and workload, very long hours, high expectations for the pay. Seems to be a wall for those wanting to bridge to leadership. Maternity benefits are shamefully disappointing for this day and age.

Hi, this is Tara Cassady, Senior Vice President of Client Services. Thank you for your three years of dedicated service. Imagine how many candidates' lives you have impacted in that amount of time! You're right that the experience you have gained will set you apart and open a world of opportunity for you at Cielo. Please continue to talk to your leader about your career goals and potential career paths available to you. I know the workload can be demanding at times, but I hope you find it rewarding. With respect to your mention of compensation and maternity benefits, I encourage you to connect with a member of the People & Culture team to share your thoughts, as they continuously monitor our benefits and total rewards program.

Pros

Met a lot of great, wonderful people. Gave me the skills I needed for my dream job. Flexible hours/work structure

Cons

Management - this cannot be stressed enough. When managers are hired, it should be because they have the appropriate experience and skill set to make a difference and lead a team. Hiring people for their personality alone does not lead to happy, engaged employees. Compensation- it is low; cannot sustain a family on this compensation. If you have experience in the role you are in, you should be compensated fairly - there is no excuse otherwise. It boils down to appreciation. Being unjustly compensated is 1) not going to create happy employees 2) force GREAT employees to look elsewhere. Hiring in general - whether its improper vetting procedures or general oversight, people need to be hired with the correct credentials. I understand that some job functions are taught, but bringing in someone that "has a different perspective" or someone that can "turn the team around" just means chaos and more headaches and confusion. A more watchful eye and immediate action (if problems arise) would greatly help this.

Hi, this is Marissa Geist, Managing Director for the Americas. You're right that our people are what make Cielo great, and it's upsetting to me that you feel as though the feedback you gave was not received or acted upon during your time here. Also, we know pay is a critical consideration for joining and staying with a company and we work to be as competitive as possible in our total rewards. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your personal situation to better understand how we can improve going forward. Please contact me any time at marissa.geist@cielotalent.com.

Pros

An innovative growing organization with some of the smartest people in the industry. There are so many opportunities to learn and grow for ambitious, individuals. So many leaders have grown within the organization.

Cons

Similar struggles to any other growing organization. Not so much a con, but areas to grow.
