Hi there, this is Jim Hall, VP - Client Services. Thank you for reaching out with your feedback about your time here, we appreciate your candor and insights. I'm happy to know you had a positive experience with your manager, valuing their guidance in data analytics. We aim to foster a supportive and knowledgeable workspace, and it's reassuring to hear how they contributed to your professional development. However, it's concerning to learn that you felt a lack of clear direction in your role. As we recognize the importance of providing clear expectations and guidance, it's disappointing that we may have fallen short in this regard. Would you be open to having a conversation to explore what we can be doing better? If you feel comfortable, you can reach me at James.Hall@cielotalent.com. Thank you again for your feedback, it's invaluable in our efforts to enhance our communication and onboarding processes, ultimately improving the employee experience.

Pros

For a starter, the pay is nice at Cielo Talent, making it a rewarding choice for those seeking competitive compensation. The company not only values its employees' financial well-being but also prioritizes fostering a great culture and work-life balance. Cielo Talent is known for creating a positive and collaborative work environment, allowing employees to thrive both personally and professionally. However, it's worth noting that for those specifically seeking higher-paying positions, it might be advisable to explore opportunities outside the company. While Cielo Talent excels in offering a supportive work atmosphere and competitive entry-level salaries, individuals aspiring for top-tier compensation packages may find more suitable options elsewhere. It's essential to align your career goals with the specific strengths and offerings of the company to make an informed decision that best fits your professional aspirations.

Cons

job securityDespite its many strengths, one potential drawback of working at Cielo Talent is the concern over job security. In the ever-changing economic landscape, layoffs could pose a challenge, and employees may face uncertainties related to their positions. It's important for prospective candidates to weigh the potential impact of economic fluctuations on job stability when considering opportunities at the company.

Pros

The “unlimited” PTO is nice. I use quotations around unlimited because it’s really not. You’re encouraged by leadership not to take PTO and if you do it’s the end of the world to them and they’ll let you know how pissed they are.

Cons

Leadership sucks and clients are nasty. Was constantly told if I did this that or the other thing I would be promoted, was never promoted was all a lie. After I put my resignation in I was pressured up until my last day to tell them where I was going with zero respect to me for wanting to keep it confidential. The clients they work with are nasty and you’ll be miserable. Leaders get emotional and just start yelling randomly. You know more than your leaders and they ask you for help and when you ask them for help they don’t know the answer. The amount of North American employees getting fired by Cielo and replaced by people in the Philippines is alarming. If you live in North America and work here you’re absolutely replaceable at Cielo.

Hi there, this is Tara Cassady, Chief Revenue Officer. It's disappointing to read that after over two years of being at Cielo, you have left feeling negatively about your time with us. We genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and this is very concerning to read. I want to assure you that our company policy encourages a healthy work-life balance, including the utilization of paid time off where everyone has time to refresh and recharge. If there were any misunderstandings or instances where this policy wasn't communicated effectively, I will absolutely look into this. As for your comments on leadership, I acknowledge each individual will be a different journey and have a different approach to management, however there is still improvement to be made here and we welcome constructive feedback from employees at all levels. While it's true that our company operates globally, we are committed to supporting our employees wherever they are located. Any decisions related to team distribution are made with careful consideration for business needs and employee wellbeing and with high levels of clients being present in these regions, we have adapted to fit these needs. If there are specific issues you'd like to discuss further, please reach out to me directly at Tara.Cassady@cielotalent.com. I wish you all the best in wherever your career takes you next.
