Pros

In hindsight, it's a great place to be if you are apathetic. If you can stay clinical and detached that is to your benefit. Co-workers who keep you sane.

Cons

The January purge. Every January there are layoffs and then one is left scrambling in March when you need to desperately re-hire recruiters or support staff that were laid off. Instead of looking at the trends to see that it is a yearly occurrence, it's the typical knee jerk, fix it now and deal with it later reaction. This then causes the mid level managers and recruitment teams to be grossly understaffed when March rolls around. Every. Year. When this occurs, all of the associated issues of being understaffed come around like clock work. Many already addressed on this site. That being said, you may review the previous cons addressed. I'll not be repetitive but read them knowing that most are 100% accurate. Be wary of the really good reviews on this site. Just beware. Know what you are getting into and do not think you will be the exception. Loyalty and dedication are not rewarded. Do not sacrifice time with your family to service a client and company that will drop you without hesitation. Just don't do it.

Hi, this is Marissa Geist. Wow, this post was really tough to read. I have been watching the reviews come in from those affected by the choices we needed to make in January, and I am saddened that so many former employees would think that these choices were made lightly, or without any regard for the service and tenure. The fact is that we make tough choices that ensure the best outcome for the most people at Cielo. Unfortunately, that means sometimes people with long tenure, who have done great things for this company, are affected. The impact you made here over eight years mattered to this company, just like the experiences you gained and will be able to take other places mattered. Eight years at one company in this day and age is quite a feat. I understand why you would warn people off, however, I would ask you when you do settle into a new role and find new success, which I know you will do, to think of your time here as time you grew, learned and made great friends. You did make a difference. You are important to us, and I wish you all the best success in your next adventure.

Pros

Getting a paycheck for 4 months

Cons

Client Services Managers/amongst other managers CLEARLY play favorites, and if you are not within the "clique" you will be out of there with a blink of an eye. I was recently laid off (along with over 80 other Cielo employees) without any notice (even though I performed very well). Please do not waste your time with a company that can not promise you any growth or stability. If you are looking for a company that makes you feel like you have to kiss someone's butt to get to the top, then Cielo is for you!

Pros

When I first interviewed with Cielo, the internal recruiter I worked with was fantastic. She followed up with me regularly until she had an opening that was exactly what I was looking for. I was very impressed by her ability to stay in touch throughout the hiring and onboarding process. Cielo met my salary request and offered bonus potential as well.

Cons

Once I was an employee, the workload was brutal and the metrics were virtually impossible to achieve because there were so many internal meetings and problems with software/hardware. I experienced constant badgering by a sadistic manager who did everything possible to make me fail including micro managing, bullying and displaying a condescending attitude toward every recruiter on our team. A normal work week was 60 to 80 hours. I worked many nights until 10 pm to achieve metrics. I worked every weekend just to keep up.

Hi, this is Tara Cassady, Senior Vice President of Client Services. I would like to learn more about the comments you shared. I don’t want any of our teams members to be experiencing what you outline. I do know we are a metrics, goal oriented organization, but that has to be coupled with great leadership and work experience. I would ask that you contact me directly and allow me to further explore your experience. Please call me at 262-439-1428 or send me an email – tara.cassady@cielotalent.com.
