Pros

Flexible schedule, work from home flexibility, and ample vacation time. Some leaders are great and will really help you propel your career forward, but others have NO interest in helping your career or listening to a team's concerns at all. Was a great place to get into a position and learn some, but NO room for advancement or opportunity.

Cons

Leaders and upper management are NOT concerned with hearing from or helping out entry/lower level employees. If you aren't on board with every single thing they do (even if they are terrible ideas or awful for the team), you are seen as negative or difficult and aren't allowed any upward mobility. I worked on part of a team that was VERY knowledgeable and hard-working and we were not valued at all. Even when we gave management the tools they needed to keep everyone on the team, they hardly listened and kept making empty promises around promotions, etc. Others on my team were fired or let go for the most incomprehensible reasons, bringing the entire morale of the team down and causing our overall ability to provide a quality service to clients almost impossible. Management that was hired on to 'elevate' the team came in with little to no relevant experience and ended up making the entire situation worse, choosing to push their work off to others, not training new team members, and just downright not doing their jobs at all. As an overall team we were expected to deliver high level results with NO resources and then were always reprimanded internally and externally for not delivering good enough results. It always felt like we were running on a hamster wheel with no resources, no appreciation, and no effort to allow us to advance in our careers. Positions were paid WELL below market value and many team members left for MUCH more compensation, further proving that we were paid under fair value. The whole credo of the company is 'own your own success' but that should come with a caveat of 'if you know the right people' or 'if you are on the right team'. I worked on multiple occasions to advance my career by my own initiative but was met with dead ends, no advancement, or just no interest from upper management to even help me along in the process.

Hi , this is Ellen Chiesa, VP of Global HR Operations. Let me start by saying that I would welcome a conversation with you about your personal experience at Cielo. Please contact me at ellen.chiesa@cielotalent.com or 262-439-1427 to discuss your personal experience at Cielo. I'm glad to hear that you were able to enjoy our flexible scheduling and PTO package but it's alarming to hear that your overall experience with leadership was poor and that you saw little opportunity for advancement. I thank you for your feedback and wish you the best in your career.

Pros

I work for Ascension and my department was outsourced to Cielo. I was able to get a job relatively easily with Cielo. Other than great colleagues, that was the only pro of Cielo in that they are so hard up for employees that they will hire practically anyone.

Cons

The need for overtime is considerable yet you are disciplined if you take any. Unrealistic expectations on all ends of the spectrum. The worst thing Ascension ever did was outsource their talent acquisition department. Morale is the worst I have ever seen and Cielo has bitten off more than they can chew.

Pros

"if" you were liked you could work remote. amazing peers. That's about it.

Cons

where to begin..... - under paid - upper management is unprofessional, not confidential, clicky, and plays favorites - they over promise to the clients (which then is your fault for not delivering an unrealistic work load) - overworked. zero work life balance. They expect you to work 12 hour days for very little pay - if you ask for help from your lead or CSM they say they will help you but actually don't - they don't actually care about their employees, they just care about the numbers - the company already had to change their name once due to negative reviews (that should tell you something right there. Look up Pinstripe) - turn over is extremely high - quality of management is very poor. - benefits were not good - they don't promote often. (I worked with a peer that did more than her lead and she was a recruiter) Bottom line, if you were a corporate or professional recruiter before, don't consider this company. You will consistently be asking yourself where the camera's are because this has to be a really bad joke.
