Pros

If you're good and you find yourself working for a trusting manager, you can really make a difference for the company.

Cons

Choice Hotels is an old company and comes with a boatload of bureaucracy and process. If you're a hiring manager, the HR process is tedious and heavy.

Cons

relationship based company, good ol' boys club, lots of office politics, top heavy, no room for growth in certain departments and roles, lower pay than what is industry standard, weak healthcare benefits and only offer an HSA plan, no tuition reimbursement, stock options only offered at executive level, bonus structure only offered to management and above

Pros

Generally, a positive working environment at the corporate level. Good salary and bonus programs. Focused on profit. Sales force works extremely hard to generate business for franchise properties.

Cons

Lacking in a level of professionalism. Significant turnover should be a signal to management to look more closely at policy, procedures, and general employee "health". HR directors need clear and more concise training on employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
